Polish romanticism and Parisian charm will meet at the Festival
On February 13 at the Liepāja Concert Hall a sophisticated chamber music program will be offered at the festival by one of the most outstanding Polish ensembles – cellist Bartosz Koziak and pianist Krzysztof Książek.
New Year will start with Beethoven and Bartók
On February 14 the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Estonian conductor Risto Joost will perform Béla Bartók's Concerto for Orchestra and Ludwig van Beethoven's Fourth Piano Concerto with Ukrainian pianist Nikita Burzanitsa as soloist.
Star Festival to open with world-renowned stars
The 34th Liepāja International Stars Festival will open with a symphonic music concert, in which the Orchestra, will perform together with Japanese violinist Yuki Hirano, as well as Belgian clarinetist Annelien van Wauwe.

The nominees for the 2025 Great Music Award and the recipients of the lifetime achievement award were announced at a press conference on January 14. The Liepāja Symphony Orchestra was also among the nominees.
3 recordings nominated for the Golden Microphone
The nominees for the Latvian music recording award "Golden Microphone 2026" have just been announced at a ceremonial event. Three nominations also go to the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra.
Chopin piano concertos recording out now
On December “Hänssler Classic” released a new CD by pianist Kasparas Uinskas, featuring both of Fryderyk Chopin's piano concertos, recorded with the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra and conductor Atvars Lakstīgala.
New album with symphonic opuses by Andris Dzenītis
The national record label "SKANi" released a new music album by composer Andris Dzenītis on November 21 of this year, which was recorded by the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra at the concert hall "Lielais dzintars" under the baton of conductors Guntis Kuzma and Christian Lindberg.
Ešenvalds' saxophone music album released
In the new album of saxophone music by Ēriks Ešenvalds "Gratitude", recorded by saxophone player Oskars Petrauskis, participates also Liepāja Symphony Orchestra.
