Concerts of the South Kurzeme Festival "Rimbenieks"
From August 2 to 16, the musicians of the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra will once again go on a musical journey through the South Kurzeme region, discovering for themselves and others new and beautiful places where we can all meet in music.
Liepāja 2027 will be celebrated with Opera by the Sea
As part of the European Capital of Culture program “Liepāja 2027”, the Orchestra will present 3 events at the “Opera by the Sea” festival, where they will meet internationally recognized soloists and perform new works.
Masterpieces by Mozart and Beethoven at Rundāle Palace
On the evening of August 15 in the White Hall of Rundāle Palace, masterpieces of classical music will once again be heard. At the heart of the concert program will be legendary, world‑renowned works by the Viennese classics.
Orchestra musicians on the terrace of "Lielais dzintars"
This weekend – Friday, July 17, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the concert hall “Lielais dzintars” invites Liepaja residents and city guests to a free outdoor event “Open-Air Concrt Hall. Musical Picnic” in the square opposite the main entrance to the concert hall.
The orchestra with two concerts at the Jurmala Festival
From July 12 to 18, the Dzintari Concert Hall will host the Jūrmala Festival for the twelfth year in a row, where the most outstanding domestic and foreign artists will perform for a week, including the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra in two concerts.
Summer concerts with Kristīne Balanas and Lucas Debargue
On July 4, the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra will begin its summer musical adventures in Liepāja, meeting Latvian violinist Kristīne Balanas and French pianist Lucas Debargue on the stage of the “Pūt, vējiņi!” concert garden.
Intriguing percussion concerto at the end of the 145th season
The Liepāja Symphony Orchestra will conclude its 145th concert season with a special program on May 16. Andris Dzenītis' Southern Concerto for Metal Percussion and Orchestra will have its world premiere with Guntars Freibergs performing as the soloist.

On April 24, the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra invites listeners to the concert hall "Lielais dzintars" to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the living classic of Latvian music, Pēteris Vasks, with a special festive program.

On April 18 the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra will return to Rundāle Palace to once again delight the audience in the luxurious White Hall of the palace in the series “Sounds of Liepāja at Rundāle Palace.”
Kairos / Chronos – Baltic Music Days 2026
This year's most ambitious contemporary music event in the Baltics - the festival "Baltic Music Days 2026" - will also be enriched by the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra with a special, philosophical and musically rich program "Kairos / Chronos".
