Intriguing percussion concerto at the end of the 145th season
The Liepāja Symphony Orchestra will conclude its 145th concert season with a special program on May 16. Andris Dzenītis' Southern Concerto for Metal Percussion and Orchestra will have its world premiere with Guntars Freibergs performing as the soloist.
Kairos / Chronos – Baltic Music Days 2026

The 34th Liepāja International Stars Festival will conclude with a magnificent and emotionally charged culmination, in which the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra will perform with conductor Christian Lindberg and pianist Roland Pöntinen.

Star Festival to open with world-renowned stars
The 34th Liepāja International Stars Festival will open with a symphonic music concert, in which the Orchestra, will perform together with Japanese violinist Yuki Hirano, as well as Belgian clarinetist Annelien van Wauwe.
