We will hear the most beautiful solo songs of Jānis Mediņš, the rare performed melodies of Paula Līcīte, and Pēteris Plakidis will be represented by a cheerful version of Latvian folksongs. Let us remember the glorious times of the song-writer Arvīds Žilinskis and meet the meditative Romualds Kalsons, sunny Jānis Ķepītis, romantic Jāzeps Vītols and elegant as always Marģeris Zariņš.
Together with the winner of the Grand Music Award 2020, Agnese Egliņa, we will hear soloists we remember from the performance Saga of Suiti—Ilze Grēvele-Skaraine and Rinalds Kandalincevs.
