The Sounds of Liepāja in Rundāle Palace. Concert performance “The Little Prince”. Premiere

30/07/2022    15:00
Rundāle, Rundāle Palace

On July 30, Rundāle Palace will host the Festival “The Sounds of Liepāja at Rundāle Palace” organized by the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra – this year it will offer the audience four different events with a single themed motif “A ball at the Palace”.

At 15.00 – Concert performance “The Little Prince” taking place in the Green Theatre of the garden of Rundāle Palace.

“The Little Prince” is a poetic story about the aircraft pilot who, due to an accident, lands in the desert and meets a young boy who has landed on Earth from a small asteroid. The story is philosophical and involves public criticism while rethinking the oddity of the adult world.

Although the story is presented as a children's book, “The Little Prince” has given adult readers a number of revelations about human nature.
