On May 24 the compositions by Igor Stravinsky Les noces and Oedipus rex will be performed for the first time in Latvia by the LSO and the State Academic Choir “Latvija”.
On May 17 LSO will conclude its 132nd winter concert season, performing Double Bass Concerto by Rolf Martinsson with one of the world’s greatest soloists Gunars Upatnieks.
In just a few days the orchestra together with the musicians of the Latvian National Opera Orchestra, Opera Choir, and the State Academic Choir “Latvija” will embark on a tour to Oman.
